TYLENOL^® PM Extra Strength

TYLENOL® PM Extra Strength is a nighttime pain reliever and sleep aid that relieves minor aches and pains and helps you fall asleep. The two key TYLENOL® PM ingredients in each caplet are:

• Acetaminophen, 500 mg, for pain relief

• Diphenhydramine HCl, 25 mg, a nighttime sleep aid

This combination helps relieve pain that may keep you awake while also helping you fall asleep and stay asleep.

TYLENOL® PM contains acetaminophen (not an NSAID, like ibuprofen or naproxen) as its pain reliever and diphenhydramine HCl as its sleep aid.

Because it doesn’t contain an NSAID (like ibuprofen, which is found in Advil PM, and naproxen, which is found in Aleve PM), TYLENOL® PM may be a good pain reliever/nighttime sleep aid option for those whom an NSAID may not be appropriate.

The TYLENOL® PM dosage for adults and children 12 years and older is 2 TYLENOL® PM Extra Strength caplets at bedtime. Do not take more than 2 caplets in 24 hours.

Stop use and ask a doctor if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 2 weeks. Insomnia may be a symptom of serious underlying medical illness.
